The A great dog Chow
The ideal Chow owner will be just as strong-minded as the Chow they keep, thus potential owners should evaluate their commitment in controlling an animal that is happy to take over any household. Chows are extremely loyal and will bond tightly to their masters. The Chow typically shows affection only with those it has bonds to, so strangers should not press their physical attention upon the Chow as it will not immediately accept them as it does members of its own "pack".Chows are not a particularly active breed and would do well in an apartment setting. Owners still need to be prepared to take them for a brisk daily walk, even if they have a fenced yard, in order to meet their needs for mental and physical stimulation. The Chow craves routine time to explore and play to maintain a happy and content disposition to be Agreatdog. Chows are "cat like" in nature and need mental stimulation in order to give respect to its master. Corporal punishment never works for this breed. There are two types of Chow Puppies, distinguished by their coat types. The rough coat Chow looks like a Lion, whereas the smooth coat Chow looks like a Bear. The smooth coat Chow tolerates heat better that the rough coat Chow and is much easier to groom. Their temperaments are identical. The following Iowa Chow Pups are currently available for adoption. They are ready for new homes after 8 weeks from the birth date shown in picture caption. Chows are typically red, cream cinnamon, black or blue in color.
